However, as we have consistently expressed, some aspects of MiCA make the operation of EU-licensed stablecoins more complex and potentially introduce new risks to both local banking infrastructure and stablecoins themselves,” a spokesperson for the stablecoin issuer told CoinDesk in a statement.
